Connecting & Reconnecting to QuickBooks

Krista's Cockpit is a private desktop application; connecting to QuickBooks Online is performed by the operator inside the application and authorized on Intuit's own secure consent page. There is no public, self-service web sign-up.

How the operator connects

1. Open Krista's Cockpit on the operator's computer and go to the application's connection settings.
2. Choose Connect to QuickBooks. The application opens Intuit's official authorization page in the browser.
3. Sign in to QuickBooks and grant the requested read access to the intended company file. Intuit returns an authorization securely to the application, which completes the connection.
4. Reconnecting follows the same steps and is only needed if access was revoked or a re-authorization is requested.
